About Creighton Law Library Government Documents

Klutznick Law Library-Creighton University

Reference Desk (402) 280-5541

Creighton University Law Library has been a selective depository library for government documents since 1979. As a member of the State of Nebraska depository library program the Creighton Law Library has acquired a wide range of United States goverment documents that are essential in supporting teaching and research in many academic departments, schools and programs. Government Documents can be located by title in CLIC.

As a selective depository, Creighton University Law Library receives only publications that have been designated as appropriate to the collection, which equals approximately 7 percent of all of the  publications offered to depository libraries. The regional depository for the state of Nebraska is the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Don L. Love Memorial Library, which receives and permanently retains all available government publications from the U.S. Government Printing Office. If a document is not available at the Creighton University Law Library, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Department, and they will be happy to borrow it for Creighton University Law School faculty, students and staff from the regional depository or from another library.
